Texans Have Plenty of Wide Receiver Options

Patrick D. Starr

"We need another playmaker (at receiver). We want more speed at receiver. Andre (Johnson) had a great year, but we can’t expect him to carry the load for all the receivers."

- Houston Texans Owner, Bob McNair

It is that time of year where Houston Texans fans will start clamoring to find out who might be the next draft pick of the hometown team. We helped out and put together the top wide receivers of this 2013 NFL draft that are considered to be picks in the top two rounds.

There are plenty of wide receivers that could fit the Texans mold, but more importantly give the team that added weapon opposite of Andre Johnson. Cordarrelle Patterson (Tennessee), who is considered the top wide receiver in the class, "should" be gone before the Texans pick at #27 in the first round so we did not include him in the potential pick(s) for the Texans.

Take a look at the crop of young wide receivers that can help Texans with a simple card sent up to the podium in two months.
