Texans Promote One from the Practice Squad
To fill Dominique Barber's position on the 53-man roster, the Houston Texans promoted rookie safety Shiloh Keo today. Keo is a 5th round draft pick in this years 2011 draft (144th overall) out of Idaho University.
Keo struggled in the preseason which ultimately landed him on the practice squad, but expect to see Keo on special teams to start his NFL career. Hopefully some work on the practice squad for Keo the past six weeks has made some overall improvements to his game.
Replacing Keo on the practice squad the Texans brought back safety Torri Williams who was originally with the team prior to training camp from the University of Purdue.
