Texans Sign One to Practice Squad
Courtesy of Alan Burge, he pointed out the day the Houston Texans released Trindon Holliday, they went out and signed second year wide receiver Dominique Edison. The ex-SFA Lumberjack was originally drafted in the 2009 draft in the 6th round (206th overall) by the Tennessee Titans.
Edison has spent time with the Tennesse Titans, Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys, and has only appeared in 5 games, all in 2009 with the Titans. He is 6'2" and weighs 204 lbs. and was considered a sleeper prospect coming into the draft. What his means for his days here in Houston only time will tell.
Here are some college highlights of Edison, PUSH MUTE ON THE MUSIC, it will make the highlights easier to watch.
