On Wednesday, former Cardinals wide receiver and NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald announced he is joining ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown.

“Monday Night Football is a huge reason so many people fall in love with the game. … It’s surreal to be a part of that tradition.”

The news was first reported by the New York Post’s Andrew Marchand, who said Fitzgerald will fill the void left by Randy Moss, who will no longer appear on the Monday show but will instead just appear on Sundays during pregame after signing his new contract.
