A sell-out crowd belted out the Canadian national anthem as the Canadian flag was flashed on the scoreboard and projected onto the ice.
Corporal Nathan Cirillo died Wednesday after being shot at point-blank range standing guard at the nation's war memorial. The gunman, identified as Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, was later shot and killed by the sergeant-at-arms.
