Quinn died in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Sunday following a long illness. He was 71.
Quinn played 99 games for Toronto from 1968-1970, coached the team from 1998-2006 and was general manager from 1999-2003.
The Maple Leafs held a moment of silence for the Hamilton native followed by a video montage of memorable clips from Quinn's playing and coaching careers. Toronto players wore a patch - a green clover with Quinn's initials in white - on the shoulder of their jerseys.
Quinn also held coaching and executive titles with the Vancouver, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Edmonton. Internationally, he guided Canadian Olympic, World Cup, world junior and under-18 teams to gold medals.
