It appeared Monday night was going to end badly for the Panthers after they blew a lead late against the Penguins, who tied it thanks to a late goal from Evgeni Malkin

But Aleksander Barkov made sure the Panthers sent their fans home happy with a nifty move in the seventh round of the shootout.

Barkov beat Marc-Andre Fleury one-handed and on the backhand to give the Panthers their 15th win of the year.

The goal was the only of the shootout and his first this year in the shootout. The 19-year-old second overall pick in 2013 had two goals last season in the shootout as well.
