Watch: Lightning's J.T. Brown gets hit in face by teammate's shot

Friday April 17th, 2015

Tampa Bay Lightning right wing J.T. Brown was struck in the face during Thursday night's playoff game against Detroit by a puck off the stick of teammate Steven Stamkos.

Brown, who was already down on the ice when the puck hit him, grabbed his head in pain. He then skated off of the ice and headed immediately for the locker room.

Remarkably, Brown returned to the ice a few minutes later.

Detroit leads Tampa Bay 2-1 at the end of the second period.
