Canucks to start G Ryan Miller in Game 5 vs. Flames

The Vancouver Canucks will start goaltender Ryan Miller in Game 5 of their opening-round Stanley Cup playoffs series against the Calgary Flames on Thursday.

Eddie Lack started the first four games of the series in net for the Canucks, who are trailing 3–1 entering Game 5. In Tuesday's Game 4, he allowed three goals on seven shots before he was pulled for Miller, who stopped all 15 shots he faced.

Miller, who signed with the Canucks before the season, started in goal until sustaining a knee injury in February. In 45 games, he went 29–15–1 with a 2.53 goals against average and .911 save percentage.

Lack, who has spent the past two seasons with the Canucks, went 18–13–4 this season with a 2.45 goals against average and .921 save percentage.
