Twitter is gearing up for the new NHL season with a set of emojis for NHL Faceoff and using your tweets to figure out who's going to win each division.

The Maple Leafs rebuild may just be getting started, but Mike Babcock and Co. are already at the top of the Atlantic Division, according to Twitter.

In a month-long breakdown of tweets from September, the folks at Twitter measured the amount of times a team was mentioned alongside keywords related to ‘winning.’ That formula put the Leafs on top of the division alongside the Rangers in the Metropolitan, the Blackhawks in the Central and Kings in the Pacific.

With the season set to face off, the NHL is helping fans gear up by introducing a set of Twitter-only hockey emojis for the first week of the season when using the hashtag #NHLFaceOff. Toronto opens the 2015-16 season against the Montreal Canadiens Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET, while the the Blackhawks will begin their defense of the Stanley Cup against the Rangers an hour later.

Also new to Twitter are ‘Moments,’ a curated version of the best stories of the day. They’ll feature a collection of tweets, Vines, GIFs and photos, and will be useful for catching up on all the action you’re missing—or just want to see again and again.
