It took six games, but Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby has his goal, and first point, of the season.
Crosby snuck one past Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo in the first period of the team’s 3–2 win over Florida on Tuesday, snapping the longest season-opening scoreless streak of his career.
The goal also ended an 0-for-17 slide for the Penguins on the power play.
Crosby also notched two assists in the win.
