P.K. Subban used his hand-eye coordination to bail out Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price against the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday night.
Carey Price has been outstanding in net, a big part of the Montreal Canadiens’ best start in franchise history. Despite his stellar play, it’s always nice to get a little help, like the kind he got from defenseman P.K. Subban on Thursday night in Edmonton.
With the Oilers on a power play in the third period, Benoit Pouliot tried to tap a rebound out of the air and into a wide-open net behind Price, but Subban came into the picture to bail out his netminder.
The concentration of the former Norris Trophy winner was immense in batting a scoring opportunity out of the air and sending it down the ice out harm's way
With Subban making saves like this and Price stopping just about everything else, the Habs' are going to continue to be tough to beat.
