Capitals goalie Braden Holtby preserved his shutout against the Sabres on Monday night with a stunning glove save in the final minute.

Holtby saved all 31 shots he saw, including the final shot of the game by Evander Kane. Kane attempted to put back a rebound but Holtby lunged across the face of the net and denied Kane with his glove hand.

Holtby now has two shutouts on the season and has won his last eight starts. The Capitals sit one point behind the Stars for the best record in the NHL.
