BOSTON (AP) Boston goalie Jonas Gustavsson left the Bruins' game against the Anaheim Ducks and was taken to a hospital with an undisclosed illness Tuesday night.

Gustavsson started but was replaced by regular starter Tuukka Rask when the second period opened. The Bruins announced late in the second period that Gustavsson was ill and taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for observation.

Gustavsson made 14 saves and left with the Bruins trailing 2-1.
