Paul Stastny knows how to work the angles.

With the St. Louis Blues leading the Dallas Stars 1-0 in the first period of Game 7, Stastny found himself on the Stars goal line with the puck, staring down goalie Kari Lehtonen. One quick snap of the wrist later, and Stastny had doubled the Blues’ lead.

St. Louis may have been tipped off about shooting from such an angle, as Vladimir Tarasenko had a goal overturned on review after slipping one past Lehtonen from a similar spot on the ice, just moments before.

Stastny, however, made this one count for his third tally of the postseason.
