NEWARK, N.J. (AP) The New Jersey Devils have signed forward Marian Studenic to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The team announced the contract Monday, noting it will begin next season.

Studenic was a fifth-round pick in the 2017 NHL draft. The 19-year-old spent the last two seasons with Hamilton of the Ontario Hockey League, finishing this past regular season with 20 goals and 28 assists.
