The Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens were at it again on Monday night. As usual, there were vicious hits, fights, and packed penalty boxes as their rivalry lived up to its reputation during the teams' final matchup of the regular season. Here's the complete recap of the Canadiens snapping the Bruins' 12-game win streak with 2-1 shootout victory.
Emelin would go on to score the Canadiens' only goal in regulation with a shot from the point, but his interaction with Lucic would not be forgotten by the Bruins power forward. Late in the third period, Lucic gave Emelin a "love tap"

Outside of the Lucic-Emelin exchange, there was plenty more to make a potential second round Montreal-Boston playoff matchup enticing.
In the first period, Bruins rookie defenseman Kevan Miller had a spirited bout with Montreal's Travis Moen after Miller sent Dale Weise hard into the boards. Miller dropped Moen with two separate punches. Both Weise and Moen left with injuries and did not return to the game.
Lucic continued his active night and returned the favor to Weaver, who has something to talk about with Rick Nash.
