After Ottawa's Chris Neil blindsided Chris Drury, the Sabres retaliated by sending out their goons to spark a second-period melee that involved all 12 skaters on the ice, including Sens goalie Ray Emery, who fought not only opposing netminder Martin Biron but enforcer Andrew Peters. The game was delayed for about 20 minutes as officials issued 100 penalty minutes, 63 of them against the Sabres.

In a rematch of their fight-filled game two days earlier, Ottawa's Jason Spezza responded the way he knows best -- by scoring a shorthanded goal on a delayed penalty in the first period and on a power play late in the game to win it for the Senators.
