ESPN college football analyst Craig James is planning to compete for the Republican nomination in Texas in the upcoming U.S. Senate primary, Gromer Jeffers of the Dallas Morning News tweeted.
The 50-year-old native Texan launched "Texans for a Better America," a group designed at restoring American ideals. In January he had told reporters that he would potentially be interested in a change from broadcasting to politics.
