Manning, a four-time NFL Most Valuable Player, is expected to be released by the Indianapolis Colts today at noon. At that time, it is believed there are at least half a dozen teams who are expected to heavily pursue the quarterback.
Last season the Seahawks finished 7-9, third place in the NFC West. Tavaris Jackson served as the team’s starting quarterback, posting a 79.2 quarterback rating in 15 games. Jackson, however, battled through injuries most of the season.
