Red Bull Arena to host Canada-Colombia, Ecuador-El Salvador

A men's friendly doubleheader featuring Canada vs. Colombia and Ecuador vs. El Salvador has been set for Oct. 14 in New Jersey, Canada Soccer announced Wednesday

Canada has not faced Colombia since the 2000 CONCACAF Gold Cup final, which Canada won 2-0.

Colombia is No. 3 in the FIFA/Coca-Cola world rankings and is coming off a quarterfinal appearance in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Canada is ranked 120th. 

Ecuador is ranked No. 21, while El Salvador is No. 72. The two sides last played in March 2013, a friendly that Ecuador won 5-0.

The matches will be held at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J. 

Canada also has a friendly scheduled for Nov. 18 in Panama.
