Sunday October 12th, 2014

Head coach Jurgen Klinsmann made six changes to the U.S. men's national team roster for the squad's upcoming friendly against Honduras.

John Brooks, Landon Donovan, Luis Gil, Omar Gonzalez, Brad Guzan and Joe Gyau have been taken off the roster. Clint Dempsey, Michael Bradley, Matt Besler, Jermaine Jones, Graham Zusi and Sean Johnson were added to the team.

Of the six additions, only Johnson was not on the team's roster for the 2014 World Cup.

Landon Donovan receives some needed closure in his final U.S. game

Donovan played his final career for the national team on Friday against Ecuador. Gyau sprained his knee in the game and will return to Dortmund, Germany, for treatment.

The U.S. will play Honduras on Tuesday in Boca Raton, Fla., the hometown of striker Jozy Altidore.
