Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a nerve issue in his foot that he's been dealing with for much of the season, according to a club official.

Bradley scored two goals and recorded four assists over 25 starts this season as Toronto went 11-15-8 and failed to qualify for the playoffs.

The 27-year-old signed with Toronto in January after stints with clubs in Italy, Germany, England and the Netherlands. He has scored 12 goals over 91 appearances with the U.S. men's national team.

Bradley also underwent a foot procedure in April that had been planned since the preseason.
