There must be something in Argentina's water.
Juventus forward Carlos Tevez channeled countrymen Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi in a spectacular half-field run on Sunday as part of Juve's 7-0 rout of Parma. Tevez won the ball just shy of midfield before breaking down the left side of the pitch and leaving three helpless Parma defenders in his wake.
For added entertainment, notoriously boisterous commentator Ray Hudson did not fail to give the flash of brilliance its due credit. Through a bevy of shrill shrieks, Hudson describes the goal as "magisterial" and the finish "as cool as James Bond in a white tuxedo."
The 30-year-old Tevez is in his second season in Turin after spending five seasons with English side Manchester City.
