The United States men's national team dropped five spots to No. 28 in the latest FIFA world rankings, released Thursday

The team lost a pair of friendlies earlier this month, 2-1 to Colombia and 4-1 to Ireland. The U.S. was ranked 18th in August, ending an 11-month stay in the top 15. A pair of draws against Honduras and Ecuador dropped the squad to No. 23 in the October rankings.

The top six spots in the rankings remain unchanged, with Germany in the top spot, followed by Argentina, Colombia, Belgium, the Netherlands and Brazil.
