Carli Lloyd scored two goals to lead the United States to a victory over Norway in the team's opening match of the Algarve Cup.

After Norway took the lead in the 44th minute, Lloyd struck back in the 57th minute with a golazo. She received a pass from Christen Press and ripped a shot with her left foot from around 20 yards outside goal.

Five minutes later, Lloyd again found the back of the net. After Press earned a penalty, Lloyd buried the attempt with a shot placed in the upper right corner.

The team's next game is on Friday against Switzerland.
