FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Josip Drmic scored twice as Bayer Leverkusen increased Stuttgart's relegation worries with a 4-0 win on Friday in the Bundesliga.

Last-place Stuttgart resisted for just over 30 minutes before falling apart. Defender Wendell scored in the 32nd as Stuttgart's defense fell into disarray following a cross from Roberto Hilbert. Hilbert also created the second goal in the 36th with a perfectly timed cross for Drmic's header.

Karim Bellarabi made it 3-0 in the 50th and Drmic completed the win in the 59th, with both goals coming after mistakes by Stuttgart's defender Gotoku Sakai.

Stuttgart remained winless in nine matches while Leverkusen won its fifth straight on coach Roger Schmidt's 48th birthday.

The defeat also increased pressure on Stuttgart's coach Huub Stevens.
