PSG fans turn tables, stop Chelsea supporter from boarding subway

Friday March 13th, 2015

After Paris Saint-Germain shocked Chelsea in second leg of the Champions League round of 16, PSG supporters decided to make light of a racist incident that occurred on the Paris Metro prior to the teams' first leg matchup.

On Wednesday, PSG secured a place in the Champions League round of 16 after advancing past Chelsea 3-3 on away goals.

Last month's 1-1 draw in Paris was marred by the racist incident, which was caught on video. Several Chelsea fans prevented a black man from boarding the train and proceeded to chant, "We're racist, we're racist and that's the way we like it."

After the second leg in London, PSG fans mocked the Paris Metro incident to celebrate their improbable win, which came despite Zlatan Ibrahimovic's first half red card. Supporters prevented a Chelsea fan from boarding the train as they gloated about their victory.

Though the video appears to be staged, clearly PSG is getting the last laugh.

In the aftermath of the racist episode, Chelsea announced it would suspend and consider lifetime bans for fans who were involved.
