Lionel Messi proves yet again he is a sorcerer with a soccer ball.
Lionel Messi scored twice in a 2-0 Barcelona win over Eibar on Saturday, but his goals were hardly the biggest highlight.
In the 22nd minute with the two teams scoreless, Messi received the ball at the bottom of the center circle facing his own net. From there, Messi went full video-game mode on the Eibar defense, artistically weaving his way in and out of potential tackles and single-handedly facilitating the Barca offense. Trying to explain in any further detail wouldn't do it justice, so you can watch the full sequence below.
Messi capitalized on a 31st-minute penalty kick and on a header in the 55th minute. Barcelona leads Real Madrid by four points in the La Liga table, but Madrid has a game in hand and plays on Sunday vs. Levante.
