Dimitar Berbatov signs with Greek club PAOK through end of season

THESSALONIKI, Greece (AP) — Former Monaco and Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has signed a 10-month contract with Greek club PAOK.

The 34-year-old Berbatov was released by Monaco in June. The Bulgarian also previously played for CSKA Sofia, Bayer Leverkusen, Tottenham and Fulham. PAOK did not disclose details of the deal.

PAOK finished second in the Greek league last season but has just one point from its first two games.

The team is participating in the group stage of the Europa League.
