Thursday December 3rd, 2015

Real Madrid hosts Malmo on Tuesday as the group stage of the Champions League wraps up.

Real Madrid has clinched a place in the knockout stage, as it is currently three points ahead of second place PSG in Group A. Malmo needs a win or draw, in addition to a Shakhtar Donetsk draw or loss, to take third place and qualify for the Europa League’s round of 32.

In the teams’ last meeting on Sept. 30, Los Blancos won 2–0 behind two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo is currently the competition’s leading goal-scorer with seven in five games. Malmo has managed just one goal in the group stage, from Markus Rosenberg.
