Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema sustained a hamstring injury during his team’s 1–0 loss to Atletico Madrid on Saturday, the team announced Monday. 

Benzema started the game, but left at halftime and did not return. He is expected to be out for as much as a month, reports The Guardian.

If he is out for a full month, Benzema would miss four La Liga matches and Real Madrid’s Champions League match against Roma on March 8.

The French star has 19 goals in La Liga this season, third-best behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Luis Suarez.
