The 2016 MLS season kicks off Sunday, with a slew of teams restocked and looking to make a run at MLS Cup.

One of them is Toronto FC, Grant Wahl's pick to win it all, and he joined SI Now's Maggie Gray on Thursday to explain his choice and help preview the new campaign.

It's not all roses for MLS, though, after all four of the league's entrants were eliminated from the CONCACAF Champions League by Liga MX opposition. Why does MLS continually fail in this competition, and what can the league do to bridge the gap with Mexico's clubs?

Finally, Wahl and Gray turn their attention to this weekend's action in Europe, where the North London derby and Der Klassiker headline the action. Can Tottenham or Arsenal rebound from their bad midweek losses? Can Dortmund really give Bayern Munich a race for the Bundesliga title?
