Alex Morgan scored late in the first half to tie the United States with Germany in the SheBelieves Cup.
Nearing the midway point of the match, Morgan took a lobbed ball in the box, touched it with her left around a defender, and volleyed with the right for an impressive, high-difficulty finish. Germany’s Anja Mittag scored in the 30th minute for a 1–0 lead, and Morgan’s goal tied it 1–1.
