The United States men’s national team continues on its World Cup qualifying path on Friday as it travels to Guatemala for a fourth-round qualifying match.

History bodes well for the U.S., currently unbeaten in its past 21 matches against Guatemala dating to 1988. The Americans lead Group C on goal differential, tied with Trinidad and Tobago at four points entering this round of games. Guatemala sits a point behind, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines are in last with zero points. The match is pivotal as the U.S. aims to take a significant lead in the group.

The two sides will play again Tuesday in Columbus, Ohio.
