Luis Suarez leads Uruguay's final Copa America roster

Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani and Diego Godin will lead a formidable Uruguay side at Copa America Centenario. 

La Celeste put out its final 23-man roster on Friday, with Suarez the premier name on manager Oscar Tabarez's squad. The 29-year-old Barcelona striker has been electric this season, scoring 56 goals in all competitions.

He'll be accompanied by Godin, Atletico Madrid's center back rock; and Cavani, the veteran PSG forward as Uruguay takes on Mexico, Jamaica and Venezuela in Group C play.

As for omissions, Manchester United right back Guillermo Varela was one of 17 who did not make the cut from the provisional 40-man roster.
