June 12, 2016

Reigning World Cup champion Germany takes the first step in what it hopes is a World Cup-Euro double when it faces Ukraine in Lille in their Group C matchup.

Germany must answer the questions surrounding how it'll replace the retired Philipp Lahm and Miroslav Klose, but it still boasts a wealth of talent along the lines of Thomas Muller, Mesut Ozil, Toni Kroos and Manuel Neuer. Ukraine, meanwhile, is looking to spring a surprise and will ride veterans Yevhen Konoplyanka and Andriy Yarmolenko in hopes of doing so.
