Graziano Pelle becomes the latest international star to bolt for China, as the Italy striker has left Southampton for a lucrative move with Shandong Luneng of the Chinese Super League.

Pelle, who scored two goals for Italy at Euro 2016, joins the likes of Ezequiel Lavezzi, Hulk, Gervinho, Ramires, Jackson Martinez, Alex Teixeira and Fredy Guarin as notable names making the move to the ambitious league. The move comes at a reported £13 million transfer fee, and Pelle will reportedly leap into the top 10 earners in the world with his wages at the club.

Pelle, 30, follows Victor Wanyama (Tottenham) and Sadio Mane (Liverpool) out the exit door at St. Mary's, leaving Southampton in need of replenishing the ranks after a sixth-place finish a season ago. Pelle scored 23 goals in his last two Premier League seasons combined after tallying a total of 50 in two years at Feyenoord.
