APOEL Nicosia pulled out the rally of all rallies in its Champions League qualifier on Tuesday.
Trailing 2–1 on aggregate, Cyprus-based club APOEL Nicosia pulled off quite the comeback on Tuesday, rallying for three goals in the second leg of their Champions League qualifier against Rosenborg.
The crazy part? They got all three goals in six minutes of stoppage time.
Giannis Gianniotas, Vander and Tomas De Vincenti all scored in extra time to steal away a 3–0 win and take down the Norwegian champions, advancing to the playoff round.
Watch the madness below. There were also three bookings in extra time, for what it’s worth.
APOEL will either go to the Champions League or the Europa League depending on its next result. APOEL last made the Champions League in 2014–15, and played in the Europa League last season.
