Borussia Dortmund opens its Bundesliga campaign this weekend, and in the club's final preseason match, 17-year-old USA midfielder Christian Pulisic scored his second goal of the summer.

After scoring against Manchester City in the International Champions Cup last month, Pulisic tallied the opener against Hallescher FC, a third-tier German squad, in their Tuesday match.

Pulisic was set up by fellow teenager Emre Mor, as the 19-year-old Turkish international slipped him through into the box in the 23rd minute after a slick set of combinations in the attacking third.

Despite the addition of Mor and the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Andre Schurrle and Mario Gotze, Pulisic is not looking to leave Dortmund either via transfer or loan and will aim to build off his two-goal, two-assist showing in limited first-team time last season.

Pulisic was left out of the matchday squad for the German Super Cup bout against Bayern Munich, and he was an unused sub in the club's German Cup first-round win on Monday.

Pulisic and Dortmund begin their quest to snap Bayern Munich's four-year run atop the Bundesliga on Saturday at home against Mainz 05.
