Brazil will host Argentina on Thursday in a CONMEBOL World Cup qualifier.

Brazil enters Thursday in first place in the CONMEBOL table with 21 points. Argentina is in sixth with 16 points. 

In Argentina's most recent qualifier, in October, the team fell to Paraguay 1–0. Brazil most recently beat Venezuela 2–0 despite the absence of Neymar. 

Lionel Messi is expected to lead Argentina on Thursday in a critical game for his side.
