Watch: Lionel Messi’s brace leads Barcelona past Osasuna

Saturday December 10th, 2016

A predictably excellent showing from Lionel Messi helped Barcelona to a 3–0 win over Osasuna.

It was Luis Suarez who opened the scoring on Saturday, but Messi who put the hammer down, deftly chipping in a diagonal ball from a streaking Jordi Alba and finishing neatly in the 72nd minute.

He went on to score again in stoppage time, dribbling past three defenders to set up a beautiful left-footed finish.

Barcelona now sits three points behind La Liga leaders Real Madrid, who play later Saturday against Deportivo la Coruña.
