Vikings CB Chris Cook Apologizes Via Twitter For His Recent Arrest

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Chris Cook tweeted an apology to his coaching staff, fans, friends and family in light of his recent arrest for felony domestic assault.!/ChrisCook_31/status/128924279357186048

Cook also tweeted this several minutes earlier:!/ChrisCook_31/status/128913236216123392 The 24-year-old allegedly tried to strangle his girlfriend Saturday, an attempt which left her with a bloody nose and several neck injuries.  The Vikings cornerback was reportedly angry that his girlfriend of several months had spoken to an ex-boyfriend. He could face up to three years in prison and up to a $5,000 fine.
