Ravens Center Birk Wins Appeal of Fine

Baltimore Ravens center Matt Birk was fined $5000 by the league for removing his microphone during a game, but that fine has been overturned, according to the Associated Press. Birk's agent confirmed the report.

A new rule under the collective bargaining agreement states that all centers must wear a microphone during games, but Birk removed his because he felt it was irritating his neck.
