South Carolina QB Connor Shaw Expected To Play Against Florida

South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw will be cleared to play on Saturday against Florida, ESPN reports.  Shaw had suffered a concussion in the final quarter of last week's 44-28 loss to No. 8 ranked Arkansas.

The Gamecocks' sophomore lay motionless for a few minutes after being sacked by Jake Bequette with five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter Saturday.  Shaw eventually walked off the field on his own power and was replaced by redshirt freshman Dylan Thompson for the remainder of the game.

Shaw will not practice in pads today, but barring any further setbacks this week, he will play on Sunday according to reports.
