UCF Athletic Director And Assistant Football Coach Resign Following NCAA Investigation
University of Central Florida athletic director Keith Tribble reportedly resigned today after the NCAA returned a report alleging recruiting violations in the men’s football and basketball programs, according to ESPN.
According to ESPN, the NCAA’s report alleged that a recruiter for a sports agency and an unnamed associated committed recruiting violations.
Men’s basketball coach Donnie Jones was reportedly suspended for the first three conference games and was issued an official note of reprimand from the school. The Knights are scheduled to have their first game of the season this Saturday against Saint Thomas University. Assistant football coach David Kelly has resigned a following the result of the investigations findings as well.
