Jerry Sandusky Says He Is "Innocent Of These Charges"

Former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky said in an interview with Bob Costas on Monday that he’s “innocent,” according to Peter Alexander of NBC News. The interview with Sandusky is scheduled to air during NBC’s “Rock Center” show at 10 p.m. on Monday night.

According to the Twitter page for “Rock Center,” Sandusky told Costas that he is “innocent of these charges” and that he is “not a pedophile.”

“I shouldn’t have showered with those kids,” Sandusky said.

Sandusky was arrested on child molestation charges stemming from incidents that allegedly occurred between 1994 and 2009 involving eight young boys.
