Detroit Judge Tosses Out Lawsuit Against Allen Iverson

A $2.5 million lawsuit against former NBA All-Star Allen Iverson has been dismissed by a federal judge today, according to The Detroit News.

Iverson was accused of assaulting Ohio resident Guy Walker Jr. in April of 2009.  According to the lawsuit, Walker claims he was attacked in an unprovoked manner by one of Iverson’s body guards, Antwuan Clisby, at a nightclub.

According to reports, Clisby was not one of Iverson’s bodyguards but instead just a close friend of the former MVP.  At the time of the fight, according to Iverson’s attorneys, Clisby was on the other side of the bar from Walker.
