Dez Bryant, Felix Jones Hope To Boost Dallas Cowboys Struggling Return Game

Saturday November 19th, 2011

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and running back Felix Jones may see some added time on special teams this week against the Washington Redskins, according to ESPN Dallas.

"I think I am this week," Bryant said Friday. "'Cause I'm feeling it."

Bryant returned two punts for scores a year ago, but he's been less effective this season, gaining just 27 yards on four returns. There is also the risk of injury, seeing as Bryant is just now getting healthy again. Jones has missed the last four games with an ankle sprain, and he's expected to return to the field Sunday. It won't be in his customary role in the backfield, though, as he's been supplanted by rookie running back DeMarco Murray. Jones, instead, will return kickoffs.
