Report: Blue Jays And Orioles Inquired About Huston Street

The Baltimore Orioles and the Toronto Blue Jays have both reportedly inquired about the availability of Colorado Rockies closer Huston Street, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.

The 28-year-old stopper posted a 3.86 ERA in 62 appearances for Colorado last season, and earned a team-high 29 saves. The former Oakland Athletics closer has averaged a 3.11 ERA and 29 saves over the past seven seasons.

Kevin Gregg served as the Orioles closer in 2011, but recorded just 22 saves and posted a 4.37 ERA on the year. The previous season he had posted a 3.51 ERA and 37 saves for the Toronto Blue Jays.
